1. Zero Data Collection

Alitken does not collect, log, track, harvest, or transmit any user data, personal information, media contents, or file paths. Everything you convert, trim, crop, or extract stays strictly on your local machine.

2. 100% Offline Desktop Processing

The desktop application operates completely offline. Native Rust Tokio engines and bundled FFmpeg GPLv3 binaries execute conversion commands entirely through local subprocesses. Alitken makes zero background phone-home API requests or server calls.

3. Zero Third-Party Trackers & Telemetry

Neither the Alitken desktop app nor this landing page contains any Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, marketing beacons, or telemetry cookies. Preferences such as your chosen theme (dark/light) are stored solely in your browser's local storage.

4. Open Source Transparency

Alitken is released as open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPLv3). The entire source code is publicly auditable on GitHub. You can inspect every line of Rust, TypeScript, and styling directly.
